Ruth bakes the cakes, scones and bread every morning before we open. Dev runs the kitchen and writes the two lunch specials each day from what the butcher and the market have that week.
We named the café after the brambles on the old garden wall behind the kitchen. In September they go into the crumble.
We buy meat from farms around Ludlow and Herefordshire, and fruit and vegetables from the Monday market when we can. If you want to know where something comes from, ask us.
